On August 5, 2021, the General Administration of Customs took emergency preventive measures against a Pakistani company, due to the positive nucleic acid test of SARS-Cov-2 in 1 sample of 1 batch of frozen Nemipterus virgatus from Pakistan. The national customs suspended the acceptance of Pakistani aquatic product company M/S MARITIME FISHERIES (Registered number: T-445/2004) import declaration for 4 weeks from August 5. Product declaration will resume automatically after expiration.
